The Paris Scholars Program is a very unique opportunity for Mayo students to develop their college educational program. Supported by the wisdom and foresight of generous people, the Paris Scholars Program provides five $1,000 scholarships to each grade level at Mayo School. Students may apply for the scholarship through the main office or they may contact Marilen Wegner, scholarship application coordinator for further information.
The Mayo Resiliency Scholarship
Awarded to an 8th grade student who shows tenacity, focus and determination to continue their education in the face of adversity. This scholarship is in the amount of $1,000.
The Oland & Ann Hanner Scholarship
A $1,000 award to an 8th grade student who has exhibited a desire to further their college education with the need of assistance.
The 8th Grade Scholarship
A $1,000 award given to a student who shows positive participation in a variety of activities as well as individual and group leadership.
The Redbird Incentive Award
A $500 presentation made to students of each grade each semester. This award recognizes those students who actively work to improve their abilities and the abilities of others.
All scholarships and awards are provided through the Edgar County Community Foundation and the Trust Department of The Citizens National Bank manages the awards or scholarships.
